Squirtle, 1, Domestic Shorthair Cat
brief history: Summer Primwood was born on a snowy day in the end of February. Why she's named Summer? No one knows, the Primwoods have always had a way with odd names. Summer can't say that she wasn't born and raised in a nice home, never having to fold laundry, or set the table. She really wasn't expected to do anything until she was four, and that was ride show ponies to blue ribbons. Summer's pretty much dominated the 'A' and 'AA' circuit in USHJA's Zone 3 since she was seven.
Her sister followed in her shoes, riding competitively as well, though the age gap prevented any shared classes or divisions. Mr. Primwood's past job as an MLB player was rather successful and long, letting the Primwoods live a lifestyle of absolute luxury, and expensive ponies. Summer is used to nothing else. She still rides larges, although a recent purchase has started her move up to horses. She's rather close with her parents and sister; they've always been there for her. So of course they'd be willing to pay the 40k tuition for Summer to get in. She probably could've gotten a scholarship, but she's too inconsistent.

- horses
- hunters
- music
- bright colors
- clothes
- vacation
- home
dislikes:
- dogs; is allergic
- math
- focusing
- boring teachers or subjects
- spooky ponies
favorite discipline: Hunters, although her Eq is pretty enough, she's never owned the right horse for it.
strengths: Nice Equitation, and a nice horse. Personality wise, Summer is kind person. Mostly to the horses; if she sees someone doing something wrong around them, she'll let them know. Summer's fun to be around, but also knows how to tone it down, sometimes. She's a huge flirt, and usually has more guy friends than girls.
weaknesses: Summer can almost never find a spot. She doesn't usually do well on horses that don't judge it for her. Summer isn't very competitive, if you have a scholarship, or are of any lesser class, whatever, you're here too, and you deserve it. She can be a little blunt at times, and when she starts to dislike a person, she starts hating anything they do. Summer finds it extremely hard to focus on one task, and spooky or jumpy horses are not for her.
secrets: When she was 7, she left the house at around six in the evening to walk to the playground and forgot to lock the door. She was there for a few hours and returned to wailing sirens and headlights in front of her house. Summer's three year old brother had been kid-napped, and has never been seen again. No one knows it was her who forgot, and if they do, they've never brought it up. Autumn had been at a lesson at the time.
fears: Open windows and doors, along with a small phobia of spiders. When it comes to riding, she's nearly fearless, that was proven when she jumped three foot three on her medium welsh bareback at the age of nine.
habits: She's meticulous about checking everything over and over. She always makes sure her girth is tight three times and twists a doorknob before confirming its locked. Summer also has to have her room spotless and one hundred percent organized. The rest of the house can be a pigpen, but not her room.
overall personality: Summer has always been jealous of Autumn's ability to become so focused, as the older sister has the opposite issue. She's known to zone out during long instruction and think of other things, such as what brand those kid's jeans are. She's confident, but not arrogant. Sometimes people call her stupid, or irresponsible because of the many dare-devilish routes she's taken in the ring. Summer's spoiled, but tries not to bring it up in any conversation.[/size][/ul]
NOTED
registered/show name: Noted
barn name: Noelle, Noah
age: Twelve, 11.21
gender: Mare
colour: Gray
markings: None visible, sometimes dapples out in the summer.
height: 14.2hh
breed: Welsh Pony
sire: Here's To You
dam: Wingless
discipline(s): Hunters
owned by: owned by Summer for five years now.
brief history and personality: Noelle is the perfect Hunter pony. She catches the judge's eye with her stunning grey coat, and her easy going temperament. Noelle crushed anything willing to stand up to her in her green year, causing a mad havoc when she was put up for sale. Mr. Primwood had played baseball with the previous owner's uncle, and persuaded him to sell the pony to them. She is more of a push-button pony than anything, and Summer knows the pony has the customary U/S routine memorized. Summer loves Noelle, and often spoils her with anything sugary.
dislikes:
- ditches
- heavier riders
- extremely small children
- being in a pasture for too long; usually she just stands at the gate until someone comes back for her.
fears: Ditches, mud puddles
habits: Tends to predict what's going to happe beforehand, and sometimes she's wrong.
CLOCKWORK
registered/show name: clockwork
barn name: time
age: 7, 04.23
gender: gelding
colour: bay
markings: wide, off center blaze, three white socks excluding the left front
height: 16.2hh
breed: zangershiede
sire: windswept's telling time
dam: almost imaginary

brief history and personality: Time can be a it of a brat. He throws random bucking fits after fences, and there's always that one time whee he forgets to swap a lead, even when asked. Time can easily become frustrating, but Summer is working with him, slowly but surely. Time was literally a last minute decision. He had been at Summer's past barn for almost a year, and the girl had begun to take some of her lessons on him. She was never planning on buying him, but her trainer insisted on taking Time to North Creek.
dislikes:
- being on an eq rein
- doing anything he doesn't want to do
fears: Bright colors. He was a jumper in his previous life, but was booted from the ring once they realized he couldn't cope with the brighter fences.
habits: Forgets to change a lead, tends to be headstrong in a double or triple.
Caden held her helmet in between her knees as she leaned over to put her hair up. Tatum stomped impatiently and swished her tail at a horsefly. The mare didn't like when Caden's attention strayed. Even if it was to put up a ponytail. Once satisfied that all her hair was under her helmet, Caden pulled the reins over the black mare's neck and slid open her stall door.
Boots and hooves clicked on the concrete as they made their way to the indoor ring. The blonde hoped she'd have it to herself. At Tuckerwood Oaks, Daddy had the whole indoor reserved for weeknights at four so Caden could work with the tough little ponies that didn't want to cooperate with the younger kids. And to school Tate. During shows, Tate should have a red ribbon in her tail. But Ms. Fresche said that some judges deducted points for that automatically. Not supposed to. So Caden just kind of hoped and prayed she was in a ring full of smart riders who wouldn't run right up behind the black mare.
"Door!" She called and opened it up to a nice, large ring with a few jumps scattered around it. She would be riding in the jumping arena, but it was outside, and this Ocala girl could not handle even the smallest chills.
Tatum pricked her ears at the new sights. Caden led her over to the mounting block and dropped her stirrups. She stood on the top step and stuck her left foot in the stirrup, then swung over with her right. The mare stood square as Caden took her gloves from her back pocket and slid them on. She then collected her reins and asked for a forward walk.
Was that girl here before, or did she just come in? Caden ignored her. Just one more to impress, right?
