Ever skipped merrirly around the garden, humming a song to herself. Her hair was down today, her black hair reaching her back. She wore a greenish colored dress along with Converse High Tops. A cat ear headband was on her head, making her look like a little kid. That was alright, though, for Ever loved her style, and how she resembled a little girl. Most people hated that about her, but Ever didn't let it get to her.
In Ever's right hand was a stress ball, something she had to help with her OCD. Her stomach growled, though she knew if she ate something, she would just get sick right afterwards because of her ADHD medication. People thought she was anorexic because she was so skinny. That was a complete lie, though. Sometimes Ever would go along with it, just so she wouldn't have to tell the truth.
Ever sat down next to a row of flowers, sniffing them. She smiled to herself, and remembered how when she was a little girl, she would always sniff flowers, saying that they smelled 'prettyful'. That was her word as a little kid. Even now she still said it. : : : : : : : :Words: 196 Muse: 9/10 Outfit: Clothes, HairThoughts: This err bear is going to be the death of me -.-

:: that should be me holding your hand, that should be me :: :::: . . . this is so wrong, i can't go on, till you believe, that should be me, that should be me . . . :::: Although Alex wasn't one to be hanging around flowers, he loved to be in the garden. It gave him a light, aloof feeling, something he usually didn't feel. He often felt very heavy and tired, but when in the garden, it felt like that weight was just lifted off of him. It almost made him never want to leave.
Although, he didn't realize that that another person was there. He walked through the flowers, down the rows, fingers lightly touching the petals. He tripped over the girl, stumbling forwards and catching himself on a telephone pole. He flinched and turned to look at her, expecting her to start yelling as most girls did. But she didn't look like the others. She had a cat ear headband and a very little-girlish look to her. His gray sweatshirt and navy blue t-shirt with jeans and worn-out high tops didn't say much about him. Well, they told everything about him. Boring and plain.
He stammered out an apology quietly, looking down at his shoes. "Sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going. Did I hurt you? Are you alright?" He asked nervously. He never watched where he was going. He always was distracted and wound up tripping over people's feet or just people altogether. He had sprained someones thumb once by stepping on their hand. He never really got over that point, and seemed to avoid the person. His brother and sister always called him clumsy, but it was just a matter of not being focused.

Ever tripped over her feet when the boy tripped over her. She stumbled backwards, ending up on her side, a bloody left hand, and a sctrached up left arm. She didn't make a big deal out of it, lik most girls would. Ever simply sat up and tried to hide the bleeding, though it was tough. A gash was opened on her palm, and it stung greatly when Ever tried to touch it. Wincing, she pulled off a couple pieces of skin that hung there. She didn't cry, though. No, she wasn't going to be a baby, especially in front of a cute boy like this. "Uh, I'm fine," she lied. Ever had always been a good liar. She could usually be caught in a lie, too. It wasn't because she was totally afraid of honesty. It was because she couldn't let her secrets out, and she didn't want to seem boring to other people. Her eyes shifted towards the boy, giving a weak, yet cute smile. Her dress was now a little dirty, and she had dirt marks on either knees. Quickly, she rubbed them off and attempted to stand. Her legs were like jello, though, and didn't allow her to do the task. Ever felt her face go red with embarrassment. It's alright, Ever, she thought to herself. She reached for her stress ball, but it was now rolling away from her, and she wasn't able to get up and get it. : : : : : : : :Words: 244 Muse: 9/10 Outfit: Clothes, HairThoughs: This is gonna be such a cute thread:)

:: that should be me holding your hand, that should be me :: :::: . . . this is so wrong, i can't go on, till you believe, that should be me, that should be me . . . :::: Alex saw that she had cut open her hand, and his eyes widened. He knelt quickly and took her hand. "Oh! You're cut! Oh god, you're hurt!" He said frantically, reaching into his pocket. With no luck of finding any band-aids, he sighed and snorted, frustrated. He saw her reach for a metal ball that was rolling away quickly, and he got to his feet and jogged after it, stopping it with his foot. He picked it up and inspected it, then walked back to the girl, holding it out in his hand. He then searched around his pockets again, this time in his sweatshirt pockets, and to his surprise, he found a large band-aid in his left sweatshirt pocket. He quickly unwrapped it and took her hand gently, placing the band-aid on the deep, bleeding cut.
Xander took her unwounded hand and pulled her up from the ground, seeing that she was weak. Her knees were now dirty and her dress was slightly messed up, but he didn't mention it. Once she could stand up, he put his hands in his pockets and looked down. "I'm Alex," He introduced awkwardly, the adrenaline of seeing her wound fading. He was more of himself now, quiet and awkward with a quirky, boyish smile. He always practiced smiling in the mirror, but girls never seemed to notice it. Maybe it was his chin. He had hit it on a table when he was little, and from then on, it was slightly crooked. His eyebrows furrowed, his mind obviously elsewhere.

Ever smiled slightly as he helped her up. She brushed herself off absentmindedly. She hadn't eaten since last night, and now it was late morning. She couldn't seem to get herself to eat, though. Ever shook her head, laughing, when he began to get frantic about her being hurt. She was a clumsy person, though, so she didn't mind. Her hair was now around her flawless face, her brown eyes shinning like gold in the sun.
"I'm Ever," she said, her sweet voice sounding like chimes. Ever smiled a bit more, noticing that the boy was very, very cute. She probably looked like a wreck right now. For some reason, she wished that Alex still was holding her hand. She felt slightly dizzy, but tried not to show it. Ever squeezed her stress ball nervously.
She said, "Really, I'll be fine." Ever didn't want him making a big deal out of her cut. Though, she did kind of like it when he did. Oh gosh, I really hope he doesn't have a girlfriend... she thought to herself. It was always such a pain to win a guy over that had a girlfriend. Then she would gain so many girl enemies, she actually lost count. Ever poked at her hand, her hair hiding her face now. : : : : : : : : Words: 215 Muse: 7/10 Outfit: Clothes, HairThoughs: Awwwwe:)

:: that should be me holding your hand, that should be me :: :::: . . . this is so wrong, i can't go on, till you believe, that should be me, that should be me . . . :::: Alex saw that she seemed to be nervous. He was just as antsy. His eyes flickered left and right, never landing on Ever. He kicked the ground, fiddling with his fingers. He had never been so anxious before around a girl. Usually he would just say a few words and walk away, but apparently, something made him stick around and kick himself into talking. He began to think about riding, trying to get the thought of liking a girl for the first time out of his head.
He snapped back into reality when she spoke again. "C-Can I make it up to you? I-I can't stand it when I hurt people and just leave them alone..." He offered, finally looking up at her. It almost shocked him, how beautiful she really was. He had horrible memory and couldn't remember the images of things or people. He could remember a name for years, but never remember a face. It made him smile, his lips quirking to the side. His hands shook, wondering what she would say. Maybe she would decline as most girls would. But behind his shy shell, he was a real gentleman, the boyfriend that any girl would dream of - but when they first met him, they threw away that chance like he was some sort of outdated toy.
He almost shook his head as if he would take back his offer, but why take it back when she may be different? She seemed different at the least. Her childish nature, her clothing, her beautiful soprano voice - it was all the same as anybody else, but her personality... it gave him such a good feeling about her. High hopes, possibly, but maybe she was just acting to get his attention.
Xander closed his eyes, flinching. Quit it. Quit doubting people. Quit saying that they're all the same. She could be. Just wait. Just wait, He reassured, and he nodded to himself slightly, looking up at her innocently, almost as a lost puppy would when you almost say no to them.

Ever looked up from her injured hand. Wait, was he trying to ask her out? Of course he wasn't. Ever, don't get your hopes up for nothing! She smiled and said, "Really? Uh, I mean, sure!" Ever laughed to herself a little, her voice getting a little higher. She smiled even more, more then usual. Ever stepped closer to Alex, her brown eyes shinning like gold in the sun. Why couldn't she take her eyes off of him? She had never felt this way about a guy before. Usually she was so calm and non-giggly when around the guy she liked. Though, Alex made her act differently.
And why did she now get the sudden urge to hold his hand? She held herself back, not even sure he truly liked her. Alex could have just been being nice to her for all she knew. Ever grew slightly dizzy now, not because she was around Alex, but because of her lack of food. Her skinny self barely was able to fit into the dress she was wearing, along with her other clothing. Ever couldn't bare to tell people, though, that her ADD medicine made it hard for her to eat. Most of the time, she just went along with the rumors that she was anorexic. For some reason, it was easier then telling people about her ADD, and then her OCD. The OCD medication was supposed to make her gain weight, and then it would upset her stomach, making her absolutely sick. Every other week she would be out of school because of it. It was all too hard on Ever's body.
Every tried to hide the fact that she was dizzy. She tensed up her body so she wouldn't fall over, and looked into Alex's brown eyes. She couldn't help but smile even more as her face got a little pale. : : : : : : : : Words: 312 Muse: 9/10 Outfit: Clothes, HairThoughts: These two are absolutely adorable<3

:: that should be me holding your hand, that should be me :: :::: . . . this is so wrong, i can't go on, till you believe, that should be me, that should be me . . . :::: Tilting his head, Alex was confused why she seemed so dizzy. Maybe she had just gotten the wind knocked out of her, but she would have surely recovered by now. When she agreed to go "out" with him some time, he decided to take her at that moment. Maybe she was hungry. H could surely take her out to get some food. That was how a date worked, right? Wait, it wasn't a date. At least he didn't think so. Maybe she thought that it was. He looked down, sighing. Girls were confusing.
He exhaled lightly, then took her hand. "Hey, let's go now, alright? I've got a lesson later on, and a busy day tomorrow, so... now's the best time.." He said, lying about being busy. He just wanted to take her out as soon as possible. Her face seemed a bit more pale, and his eyes widened along with it. He led her out of the garden and to the large parking lot, where some students lounged by their cars. He found his beat-up pick up truck and opened the passenger door for her, then climbed into the drivers seat himself. He had only been driving for about six or seven months, but he knew the basics and how to get around.
Quickly, he pulled out of the space and got onto the road, drumming his fingers on the driving wheel. He glanced over at Ever, a soft smile on his face. "U-Uh.. S-So, Ever, tell me about yourself..." He said quietly, trying to some conversation going. He then looked back at the road. Where would he take her? Maybe a casual restaurant. Nothing special, nothing romantic. He looked around, then at Ever. "Anywhere you want to go?" He asked, just after his previous question.

Ever was slightly overwhelmed as Alex took her hand and pulled her towards his car. Wait, were they going out to eat? She tried not to panic. He would suspect something was wrong with her, though, if she barely ate anything. Maybe she could just say she wasn't feeling too well? She lied a lot, it wouldn't be anything new. Ever climbed into his car, crossing her arms and looking down. Alex then told her to tell him more about herself. Alright, that was easy.
"Well, I moved to Kentucky when I was thirteen cause my dad lost his job. I took up horseback riding and then my mom got me my own horse. Just a few months ago I got in a riding accident and had a concussion, and now I just have some memory problems. No biggie, though." Ever wanted to say that she had A.D.D and O.C.D., yet she didn't want him to think she was some kind of freak. She tapped her fingers on the dashboard, hating the silence that filled the truck. Ever couldn't stand silence, and then Alex asked her where she wanted to eat. "It's totally up to you," she said. Thinking about food just made Ever wish she didn't have stupid A.D.D. medication. Well, if she didn't take it she wouldn't have that problem. Though, she would then be bouncing off the walls and talking a lot. Either way, she couldn't win.
Sun hit Ever's eyes, making them shine like gold. She stopped tapping on the dashboard and put her hair back in a braid to keep it away from her face. Hating the silence again, she began to hum a song. She hoped that she wasn't getting on Alex's nerves being so fidgety and loud. : : : : : : : : Words: 300 Muse: 7/10 Outfit: Clothes, HairThoughts: Awwwe:)
