NORTH CREEK ACADEMY
- The school is located in Kentucky, this is ideal because it is nearly the center of the major showing zones: zones 1, 2, 4, and 5.
- Top Junior Riders choose to train here because it's the best in the country. You either are rich beyond compare, or you are on a scholarship for your riding.
- The school's equestrians transfer to the Wellington, Fl from December 18 - April 9, 2011 for WEF. The school's Wellington Campus is located 5 minutes from the show grounds and the students drive golf carts down to the stabling on site and do tutoring on the grounds during show days.
- The school's colors are blue and gold, the mascot is the falcon.
- There are 1-4 shows a month. Often every weekend one month, then the horses will get around 3 weeks off of showing.
- Shows and sign up for shows and set group lessons will be posted on Bulletin Board.
- The school's show uniform is as so: show jacket, light show shirt, tan or white breeches, tall boots or paddocks and garters. If you wear paddocks and garters, you must be on a pony in the hunters or jumpers and you must wear a hairnet, no show bows. The only exception for the garter rule is if you have to make a quick run to another ring with no time to change. The preferred helmets are Charles Owens, GPA, Antares, and Samshield.
- The school's lesson uniform is as so: polo or collared long sleeve shirt or polo with a form fitting jacket or pullover or vest with shirt tucked in, belt, breeches in tan, white, gray, or black, tall boots, leather half chaps and paddock boots, or boots and garters. Hair must be up in a hairnet or in a neat ponytail. The preferred helmets are Charles Owens, GPA, Antares, and Samshield.
